The derby on the 4th of July

Every year the one thing that everyone looks forward to on the 4th of July is the demolition derby! There is nothing better than the derby in Delta. It's fun to go and hang out with the family and then watch the fireworks after dark. I can barely remember a 4th of July without the derby as part of that memory. I love that the kids love it too! It's the reason we like to go to our hometown on the 4th... it's the best part, or so the kids say! Hyrum was picked to play one of the balloon games while they were towing out cars, he thought it was awesome to be picked!

Last year after the derby we ended up taking Nate to the ER and found out he had pneumonia again. It is awesome to see him so healthy and happy this year!!!!

The mini car races are as exciting as the actual derby... Awwwwwwwwww... nothing better than blue snow cones at the derby!

The kids think the best part of the derby is anytime a truck or car gets tipped over! I know... we are really easily entertained!
