Company Party

The kids look forward to the annual company picnic. It's always fun, but it also means the official end of summer is coming because it is always happens right before school starts! The kids have fun, playing carnival games and hanging out in the park. I have fun getting to sit and relax a bit watching them run around and play in the park. We had Tiffany and Gabriel come with us since Garrett was working. Gabe had fun too. Thayne helped Gabe and Nate play some games and won them a stuffed animal. They ate far too many ice cream sandwiches and Popsicles but that is what the day is for!!!

Noah's Blessing Day...

I was so excited for Noah's blessing day. And it was as beautiful, and as wonderful as I had hoped it would be. He looked so handsome in his little white tux and the blessing his daddy gave him was beautiful! He is a gift to our family.... a blessing from Heavenly Father with a mission to fulfil on the earth and as part of our family. His sweet little spirit just shines and we are enjoying watching his personality come out and shine! Thank you little man for the blessing of being your mom. I promise to do everything I can to teach you about your Heavenly Father and your purpose here on earth. You are a joy in our lives and we look forward to see all that you will become!!!

A Weekend To Celebrate

I was looking forward to the first weekend in August. It would be a weekend of having everyone except Tallin home and I could NOT wait! We decided we would make it a weekend of celebrations. Matt was going to be having a birthday. Jace had received his Associate's Degree in Business in May and we were going to be blessing Noah. I was SO excited!!! We also were going to do family pictures (to be shown off later), something the girls and I look forward to and the boys dread. However, pictures are mandatory in our family. It's in the marriage contract that you cannot marry into this family unless you agree to submit at least once a year to family pictures. What can I say... it's a little extreme but we had to make sure anyone marrying into this family knew the rules! ;)

It ended up being a wonderful weekend. My parents were here and we had a great time Saturday in the park getting pictures, and then out for pizza and after Church Sunday we had a family barbecue and just hanging out. I love this family. They are a little loud at times. They are silly, they make me smile and I count my blessings everyday for each and every one of them!!!
