A girl's gotta dance....

There was nothing more fun than a stake dance when I was growing up... and the best stake dances happened on New Year's Eve... and it seems that my girls have that same crazy, love to dance attitide that I had. And that is a GOOD thing! They had a blast New Year's Eve... they had a dinner/dance and it sounds like they had a wonderful time. Of course put them and good music together and they are absolutely going to have a good time! Karrie C was here visiting and got to spend the night and Kassi made great use of her new camera. These girls love to have fun and I love to hear about their fun. I love that they are always so happy and love to include others in their fun! Happy New Year's girls.... it's going to be a great year!!!

This has been a great holiday.... I am so not ready for the kids to go back to school. It seems like the days have gone really fast and it has been a joy to have everyone home. I love watching the kids sitting around playing games together. I think the best was watching Hyrum and Kami playing chess. It blows my mind that they even know how and it is so fun hearing them having a conversation about it while they are playing! Sometimes Kami even wins! We have had Thayne home a lot also and it has been great. He's had so much going on at work that he has been busy but he always keeps his priorities in the right place and he made sure he was home and very involved hanging out with the kids.... though I admit we have been lazy and haven't do much on the 'to do' list... but those things will always be there, and these lazy days won't! One of the funniest things is to watch Kassi harrass her siblings! She is not afraid to tackle them and take them down! She and Kimi were teasing each other so Kassi was going to show her who was boss! They had a great time playing with the moon sand that Kami and Hyrum got for Christmas....it was EVERYWHERE.... but they had a great time. It's been wonderful watching them hang out and enjoy being together! ROAR...........

2010

Wow.... 2010! It's amazing to think that it is 2010... it seems insane! The year flew by so quickly. I think back at everything we went through in 2009 and it seems like only yesterday we were thinking it was crazy that it was 2009 already! Once again we have seen miracles that defy all odds. There have been moments of heart ache, moments of fear and moments of great joy! We have many wonderful things to look forward to this year. We are waiting on pins and needles waiting for Tiffany to go into labor.... she is about 90% effaced and dialated to around a 4.... and we are so thrilled! We are so excited to meet this little man. I look forward to holding him and smelling his sweet baby smell. We have a wedding to look forward to also. It will be so wonderful to officially welcome Caitlyn into our family. She has been a part of our family for so long anyway that to have her officially become our daughter is wondeful! June will be an amazing month to welcome her into our family and then they will be able to get sealed in the temple after she has been a member a year..... that will be such a wonderful day! My heart has broke over several miscarriages and we hope that we will be able to figure out what is going on and maybe possibly have another baby join our family this year also. Thayne gave me an amazing blessing that spoke of the joy another baby would bring to our family and I had to laugh when Kassi told me how much they wanted us to have another baby. I feel so blessed by this amazing family. I feel so blessed for the power of the Priesthood in our home, and I am grateful for the atonement and the fact that no matter what we went through in the past couple of years, our burdens have been lifted and we have been carried by the love of our Heavenly Father! I look forward to the new year and all that is in store for our family! Happy New Year!!!
