His foot is about double the size of his other foot!
A wise man once said, "In all living, have much fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured." We have weathered storms that tried to break us, but through it all, we have always tried to find the joy in our journey. Watching our family grow has given us more joy than we ever thought possible. There is joy in the journey, even in the middle of the storms!

Poor Willie!
Today was the day that Kami and Willie had to go to the doctor for their school shots and physicals. It worked out well since yesterday Willie wiped out running up the steps. He caught his foot coming and going. It was so swollen... dark purple and horrible! He can't put any weight on it at all. So knowing we had an appointment first thing this morning iced it and kept it up. I have mentioned in the past that I am not really thrilled with the medical community in our little town...and once again they didn't let me down... well, they DID, but you know... I have issues with this particular doctor. After the x-ray, the doctor comes back into the room and asked where it hurt the very most right then. He points to the heal, because the heal really hurts! The doctor says, "Well, there's nothing wrong there!" He then tells us that he doesn't think it is broken, just a horrible sprain. But then says, "Well, on this one side there is something that looks off, but let's just wrap it and get you some crutches!" I'm just saying we are getting a second opinion! Yep, absolutely a second opinion! But for now he's just sitting, iced and with it in the air and hopefully we can have the x-rays read by somebody we trust and keep him off it so the swelling can go down!
