A wise man once said, "In all living, have much fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured." We have weathered storms that tried to break us, but through it all, we have always tried to find the joy in our journey. Watching our family grow has given us more joy than we ever thought possible. There is joy in the journey, even in the middle of the storms!

Willie felt quite special for his birthday this year. We spent the whole day celebrating him! After going to Lake Tahoe, we spent the day shopping and playing in Reno. Willie wanted to go to Scheels and once the little kids found out that there was an indoor ferris wheel they wanted to go too!!! It was a fun day just hanging out and not really having anywhere to go. After playing, we worked up our appetites and off we went to Applebees where we ate, laughed and had them sing Happy Birthday to the birthday boy!!! Hope your day was wonderful Willie and hope that this year is everything you want it to be!!!

We decided while we were visiting Kimi, that since it was Willie's birthday we would make a trip to Lake Tahoe and get some Cold Stone Ice Cream. That was a trip! Sometimes it feels a lot like being a monkey in the zoo when we go places. People stop, and stare, and even point. But we were too busy laughing and having fun to worry about that! It was quite the event to get everyone's order and I kind of felt sorry for the people standing behind us. However we were quite organized and the boy behind the counter was very efficient. I am sure the fact that he was making eyes at 3 pretty girls had nothing to do with how happy he was to serve us!!! :)
I really cannot believe that 7 months have come and gone already...
We got to go to Kimi and Matt's this weekend for Jared's blessing.
