One more time... cuttin' wood!

We decided to make another wood run this morning. We were able to get a pretty decent load in a short amount of time and are almost set for the winter. We only had one tire blow out so the day was considered a success. Garrett and Tiffany went and helped out and except for being black and filthy it was a really fun day. Or maybe it was BECAUSE we were black and filthy we had a fun day... who knows!!

The boys have the easy part... they just cut the wood... the girls are the real muscle of the show by hauling the logs down the incredibly rocky hill!

Willie wanted to get out to check out this old.... house? But it looked like it would fall down around him so we said NO!

I love driving out in the middle of nowhere and seeing the old houses and barns falling down. I wonder who the people were that lived there, what their stories were, what their lives were like!
