What a great day!!!

Yesterday Thayne and I went to Salt Lake with Garrett, Tiffany, Jace and Caitlyn and we had a really great day! I just have to say that hanging out with your adult children is truly one of the most rewarding gifts you could hope for! We went shopping, out to eat, got to meet one of Garrett's missionary companions that just barely got home 2 weeks ago and a friend (thank you Kaylene) took engagement pictures of Garrett and Tiffany... since their wedding is next month we thought it best to maybe HURRY the process along a little bit!!! ;) After a long, fun and exhausting day we went to Temple Square and saw the lights. It is always so amazing and beautiful there this time of year, and then we headed home. We didn't get home until about 1:30am and I got to come home to sick kids, but yesterday was just the distraction I needed as we are still dealing with going through this miscarriage. The only sad part of the day was when we went by the hospital I would have delivered this baby, and Fetal Fotos where we had planned on going to get a 4D ultrasound. It was really fun to be with my two grown boys and hang out with them. We laughed and had a great time! After putting such a huge investment into raising them, it's great to see that they have become honorable men, who aren't ashamed to hang out with their mom and dad! ha ha! In fact they insisted we go!!! Great memories made, in a liftime of great memories! I have so many blessings in my life! And the weather was just amazing, beautiful and so strange to be into December and have 'jacket' weather! What an all around fantastic day!!!

At Olive Garden (and the pumpkin cheesecake is for my friend Talitha... thought about you with every bite!!!) The kids just being silly... Caitlyn could fit the whole meatball in her mouth! :)

While Garrett and Tiffany were getting their pictures taken, I made Jace and Caitlyn take pictures. Caitlyn, always the willing subject while Jace is too much like his dad and cried about it the whole time!!! And can I just say that when Jace held her down and stuck grass in her nose I laughed at how much he truly is like his dad! Caitlyn can give as good as she gets though thank goodness or I would have stepped in and put grass in Jace's nose!!!
