Fair Parade

It's that time of year again... it marks the beginning of school, of fall... and the end of summer. Fall is probably one of my most favorite times of the year! We are looking forward to having a 4 day weekend with nothing that must be done. It's been a long busy summer. The kids and Thayne are all off Friday and Monday. Yay! We had fun at the parade and then hit the store to get the last bit of paint we need to finish painting the house. Wonder if we can get that done before winter????

Kassi and her mini-me Kami... and Kalli, Beth, Kaylene and Dana. They were running off to watch the parade on the other side of town but Kassi promised Kalli she could go with them.

The beginning of the parade...And probably the BEST part because I love to see people stand for the flag and honor this great country!!!! Too often we hear the complaints but I am grateful for what we have here and for all those that serve so that we can keep the freedoms we have. We live in a great county that honors those freedoms and will fight to keep them!

WOODY...... Okay, well that is what it sounds like when Nate says Willie's name! How cool is it that Willie (8th grade) is marching in the high school band??? He has talked about it nonstop and is so happy and excited!

Ha... we are part of the majority that are looking forward to having the opportunity to hopefully vote OUT Harry Reid in November... funny that his son is running for office but NOT using his last name... sorry Rory, we know your last name and you picked the wrong county to come visit. Even funnier was the big trailer with a sign saying "Anyone BUTT Harry Reid" right behind where we were standing. Time to take our country back!

The things Thayne's nightmares are made of... evil clowns!!! They were everywhere.... advertising the upcoming haunted house!

Can't wait for the hot air balloon festival coming soon... like I said, Fall is an awesome time of year around here!
