Christmas Cookies

I did manage to get ambitious one day an make a ton of cookies. The kids had a great time decorating and eating them. The funnest part is when Caitlyn and Jace came over and Caitlyn got in on the decorating. She and the kids had a contest to see who made the cutest cookie. Thayne had been resting in the bedroom and they all came in with excited anticipation on their faces to see who he would choose! Including Caitlyn. Thayne told me later he thought it was the funnest thing to see how amazing Cait is with the kids and how cute it was that she came in with them just as excited to see who he would pick! Gotta love a sweet girl like that! This has been a hectic time of year but it was wonderful to hear them laughing and playing and even the mess was worth it!

And don't mind the laundry in the background. We had been washing cflothes all day and folded them later that night... but here are the contestants and their cookies! What great decorators they all are!!!
