The Box

Yesterday we had practice for the primary program that will be presented on Sunday by all of the little ones ages 3 through 12. Only this year our family somehow got talked into singing too... which is wrong on so many levels! BUT... it was also date night and we finally found the time to go with Tracy and Buffy... it had been forever since we had been able to do that! That's what we get for having 21 kids between us... it messes up our date nights! After we got through with the practice and got kids sent on their way back home, we went into town to eat dinner and wait for the late movie to start. We wanted to see the box. Well, everyone except Tracy wanted to see it. He didn't want to see it because it looked scary... however now he will claim he didn't want to see it because it looked stupid! And it was... Oh so very incredibly stupid! It was wasted time that we will never again be able to get back. How sad!!! We couldn't leave, because really... when a show is THAT horrible you wait it out because SURELY they will pull it all together and give you closure, right??? Well... WRONG!!! That did not happen. The story was horrible from beginning to end.... it made no sense, it had no plot, the acting was horrible and the ending just left us... well ANGRY!!! Angry because we couldn't believe that we had wasted our time on it and angry because Hollywood had the nerve to put out such a horrible movie!!! Just ICK!!! It was that bad!

However... BEFORE the movie was actually quite fun! We decided to go walk through Walmart while we were waiting. I don't go to Walmart very often.... but the kids all like to hang out at Walmart! Yes... even grown ups can have fun at Walmart!!! Tracy was in rare form, dancing to the Christmas music was the best, though I wasn't fast enough to get really great pictures of that, it was fun. Thayne and Tracy tried on the hats, and got all of the Elvis dogs singing and well... it was just so much fun!!!! It is so great to have good friends that we can just hang out with and know that they are always there for us, even when it is hard to find time to go out on date night! One thing we know for sure, we can count on Buffy and Tracy for anything!

Thanks for the laughs Tracy! It was a great night!!! Even if we did have to suffer through the stupidest movie ever made!!! Next time you get to pick the movie, we promise!
